My early designs came from the inspiration of games, the very reason I started with a canvas of 400x120 was to fulfill the needs of those wanting banners for forums. Thankfully however I have stepped up the sizes and as a result have taken a different direction when it comes to the content of each piece.
I've been a huge wrestling fan since around 1997 even if back then I wasn't aware of the ins and outs of the companies! I've decided to change my approach to banners / wallpapers under 2 primary sizes which have been 1024x768 and 500x200, this is to be able to add them under certain websites.

I find it fairly challenging balancing renders to stock images on the canvas then trying to blend it together to significant effect whilst at the same time keeping the piece clean enough to really fulfill my goal of displaying wrestlers or factions. Some of the larger pieces I've experimented with have demonstrated different typography skills and grunge effects on more recent pieces, I like to think I'm improving with the resources at my disposal (Those in my favourites) however I will be trying to up my game in the coming months especially exposing my desire to create wrestling pieces.
